Rich Testa

Rich Testa earned his Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park. A generalist in the field, he is primarily interested in United States culture and society, from 1787 to the present. He primarily appreciates baseball, movies of the Studio Era (1928-1948), Jack Benny and old-time radio, Alfred Hitchcock and Preston Sturges, television (1948-1980), Ross Macdonald and the private eye, the Peanuts comic strip, Catch-22, Creedence, and jazz.
